Update from Suseya – August 25-27, 2004

Around at 11.00 a.m. one hammer stopped near tends in opposite side of us, beside military site. Three soldiers got out and did exercise along the road for about 10 minutes advancing for 100 m. hidden through the rocks pointing M-16 guns and throwing something like hand bombs (perhaps just stones) but without any explosion.

Update from Suseya – August 19-24, 2004

At 2 o’clock in the afternoom two volounters from Operation Dove start a present in Suseya (in the south of Yatta near the green line).

20/08/04
Around 8,45 o’clock the IDF soldier came in the place where there are the tends of the Palestinian people in Suseya.

Update on Operation Dove from Jenba, August 12-19, 2004

August 12. Meeting with local population. Gathered the following information: in 1966 in Jenba there were about 1000 people (25,000 in Yatta). In 1985-86 there were 40 houses, a mosque, an ancient (still visible) swimming pool, and 500 olive and fig trees and vines. In that year everything was destroyed by the army
