Young Italian Conscientious Objector Hospitalized As a Result of Injuries from Settlers
Trial Begins for One of the Settlers Arrested for Attack

Johannes Steger, the young conscientious objector attacked on February 16 th by settlers from Havat Ma’on while accompanying a group of Palestinian shepherds in At-Tuwani, is recovering in a hospital in Bolzano from injuries sustained in the attack. At this moment, Steger has his jaws wired shut, has a torn retina, and is suffering from amnesia about the events of the attack.

SETTLERS CHASE PALESTINIAN SHEPHERDS FROM THEIR FIELDS

AYesterday afternoon three settlers of Maon settlement in the West Bank verbally assaulted and threatened Palestinian shepherds who are the inhabitants of nearby villages. One of the shepherds stated that he was also hit by one of the settlers.
