Three young Israeli settlers killed south of Bethlehem
Concern for our volonteers
On October 16th 2005 in the afternoon, near the checkpoint of Gush Etzion, at the entrance of Bethlehem, three underage Israeli settlers, among them a fifteen year old from the Israeli settlement of Ma’on, and two girls from the settlement of Kamil respectively 18 and 20 years old, were killed by some Palestinians shooting at them, whereas other three were seriously injured.
Tomorrow 17th October, at 9 o’clock there will be the funerals of the three young Israelis near the settlement of Susiya south of Hebron.
The volunteers of Operation Dove condemn this terrible crime against the young Israelis and express there deep sorrow to the families of the young victims. Our volunteers will remain with the population of Susiya during these hours. The Israeli army is in alert, in case of actions by the settlers of the area against the Palestinian inhabitants of the same area.
