What we do

What we do

The activities that we carry on in war areas are:

1)    Sharing the life with the poorest between the war victims, trying to help them in their daily needs and sharing with them not only the inconvenience of emergency situations, but also daily fears and risks;

2)    Protecting civilians more exposed to the violence, through our neutral and international presence and through nonviolent direct actions such as: physical interposition, complaint of human rights violations, accompaniment of refugees or threatened people, actions of solidarity, supporting the meeting and mediating between the fighting parts, protecting the minorities, …

3)    Promoting the dialogue and reconciliation, which is possible only by living on both sides of the conflict and is founded on the trust of the people in us.

4)   Doing advocacy on a political and institutional level.
